CUSD Student Handbook
The Student Handbook lists important site and district policies, programs, and expectations. It is imperative that students AND parents are informed of this information. Please take some time to thoroughly review the handbook with your student so that they are familiar with expectations.
Art
Masterpiece
Art Masterpiece is an enrichment program where volunteers use reproductions of fine works of art to promote art literacy in children. Art is an integral part of life and the Art Masterpiece Program is a chance to stimulate the students' thought, perception and imagination.
In the end, students attain a greater awareness of the world around them. Volunteers called "Art Guides" bring prints to the classroom and present a lesson and art activity planned for a particular grade level.
Dual Language Immersion
Chandler Unified School District is proud to offer dual language immersion (DLI) programs in Spanish at Bologna.
We implement a 50/50 research-based model in elementary schools, a 70/30 model in middle/junior high schools and a world languages continuation in high school. Students have the opportunity to start at an early age learning a new language while learning grade level content.
Students participating in the program will become bilingual, bi-literate, develop cultural awareness, and global citizenship skills.
